In the first game, what made it special is you thinking outside the box.

Then I saw this second one and started wondering "Oh, cool, another one of that. Now I must prevent me from scape cause I'll turn into what? A monster? A demon? Godzilla?"

But you though outside the box again.

Well done.

I like the fact that, even with the full map open and all the powerups appearing on the screen, the game still isn't too easy. The map revealed doesn't turns this a walk in the park, it's still an action/exploration game.

I won't give 5 stars cause:
- Some areas cheats the player spectations, such that one of the spikes: I tried a lot to find routes until I realized that I can walk through the spikes.
- The wall jumping combination with double jump is a little confusing, and I died a lot in the wall jump section cause was kinda hard to control the character.

Other than this, great game! All ma 5 r belong to this.

Took me some losing to realize this is NOT a rythm game.

The physics look weird at first, but it gets interesting later.
I guess the challenge is in the physics, otherwise the obstacles and platforms and jumps would be too easy.

If you replace the ball with a bouncy car tire - like that ones you see on Donkey Kong Country (SNES), the physics would make more sense ^^

This is good. The game is well made, good graphs, good controls, it's fun and all.

But just two things doesn't fit in my mind:

- There's a lot of "parking games" around, but this one is different because it's muscle cars. So, why the cars move so slow, even going forward? Where is the "High horsepower"?
- If my car is already parked in a good spot, why should I just leave the spot and go park in another, and then do it again? The only reasonable goal is showing skills, like in a contest.

But, overall, I liked it.

Thanks for the comments.
You're right, the muscle car stuff is all just graphical. It's kept slow to make the gameplay better. (we have an ingame car editor to alter all of these parameters.)
Because we only have digital throttle control on PCs it's really hard to make the car go slowly and carefully, as well as going fast.
Same for the multiple parking bays: it's just a bit of fun! :)

The guy's wife died. Then I pressed left until the guy killed himself to be with her.

I'll not wander in the philosophical/psicological matter of the story, everyone thinks the way he/she wants, but this can be barely called "game". It's an interactive movie, when some part of the animation is controlled by the used.

Also, I found pretty "forced" some elements of the story - from the church to the cemetery, the first-meet place was conviniently placed there (like "Hey, I'm a important place to this couple story and I came here so Walter can pass through me and add some more sadness to the story").

The music is nice, I'm giving one star for it.

It reminds me the Rebuild series, which is also too awesome.
It's the same idea: defend, rescue, scavenge, survive through the days. but's a shooter.

5/5

There's a too much simple gameplay, but the story makes this great!

Jetz72 said it all.
I'm just dropping the stars.
